A lesson inspired by the Art in eARTh Day Celebration (incorporating Socially Engaged Art) held last year on April 23 at the Wynne Home Visitors and Art Center in Huntsville

Patrick's Lesson for Socially Engaged Art

Patrick Richards' latest Socially Engaged Art is to engage local students with the issue of sustainability at the local, national and global level.

The slide show to the left shows Patrick's explanation of his project as an example of Socially Engaged Art work and how his idea was inspired.

Patrick offers 2 options for the Class

The complete lesson uses his "Sea Pollution" Exhibit to allow students to participate with their own work.

Approximate time: 2 Class Periods

Patrick will give the lesson and the students will complete the work in the second class.

Patrick is a cohort of the 1st MFA degree in Art and Social Practice

Patrick can come for 1 class period and get your class involved in his project entitled "Sea Pollution"
